Have you noticed how good 20-year olds are at flaunting entrepreneurial success on social media?

Or how 30-year olds with a decade of that experience produce confessional videos of how miserable they have been behind the scenes despite the material success.

So what happens in the 40s? Or beyond?

Many go quiet. Focus on family. Settle into a groove that does not rock the boat.

I too was a young hotshot Internet entrepreneur in my early 20s.

I published half a dozen courses and ebooks on areas of productivity, life direction, getting organized, time management — and then I got deeper into stoic philosophy.

I became a minimalist.

To the point that I felt a gnawing dissatisfaction with the status quo.

I decided that early-life success was premature in life and might distract me away from a bigger purpose.

One of my productivity programs sold at 8% conversion rate. If you’re in business at all you know 8% is very very good.

I achieved 7th position for sales volume in a multi-million dollar affiliate competition against leading marketing gurus at the time.

But I pulled the plug on it all.

I had this habit of learning something, and then moving on.

Abandoning what I’d done to date, in favor of a new question, a new challenge.

I even received commission checks from companies whose products I promoted and I never cashed the checks.

It wasn’t about the money to me at that time, although I should have cashed the checks.

But for me, it was about the discovery. The question that I was searching to answer.

That question that we all have.

What they heck am I really supposed to be doing?

I learned that…

50% of marriages end in divorce.

And that doesn’t mean the other 50% of marriages are happy, does it?

I learned that…

People go through mid-life crises.

That did not sound like a positive outcome for half a life’s effort.

Despite signs of success on social media many people, are miserable to the point of depression.

I learned that motivational gurus who get up on stage and earn tens of thousands of dollars for a speech, are whiney ass miserable arrogant pricks behind the curtain.

I felt an imposter syndrome in my late teens, back in the late 90’s, when online success was practically unheard of.

I often had lunch money for a restaurant, but I settled for a butterd bagle because that’s what my school mates were doing.

I felt alienation at school because they were dealing in trading cards, talking football, and I was planning my next online product launch… or client campaigns.

After a decade of freelancing, I reached 27 and decided to become a corporate marketing manager.

I launched the Search Engine Optimization department for a London ad agency, and wrote adverts for a dozen industries.

I beat the ad agencies best clients ad campaign by 510% for lead generation, with 1900% extra ROI.

I began reading the literature of business and marketing and learned the ugly history of the Public Relations profession.

That it was invented by Sigmund Freud’s nephew Edward Bernays who adopted Nazi Germany propaganda, brought it to America, and called it Public Relations, or PR for short.

I read that customer focus groups in the 1950s discovered that mothers felt guilty to their family for buying ready mix cake mixtures… so the brand put the instruction on the packet to ‘just add 1 egg’. And sales sky rocketed because that effort alleviated the guilt trip.

Lessons like that made me even more jaded, about business, about society.

What I’ve learned in my 20-year career in banks, corporates, marketing agencies and web3 communities is frightening, appalling, and disheartening.

It’s often said that sometimes you have to hit rock bottom.

So… what do we do with:

Various disappointments, even shrouded by success.

Rejections or failures in professional-life and in personal-life.

Awareness of the wastefulness of our time, which is life, because of burdens of financial pressure…

…especially when we see the over-sized prosperity of celebrities, or politicians, and entrepreneurs younger than us making it big...

Teenagers who bought bitcoin and buy penthouses atop Dubai skyscapers...

The sloshing of money… around an obviously broken economy…

Built on a house of cards imminent to collapse.

…benefiting the big banks and creepy corporations who profit despite people’s hardship.

Not only are they not solving problems — they’re even creating them.

Confusion abounds about deeper purpose, worthwhile direction, and the cultural calamities we see today.

I came to realize that society is set up to make us yo-yo back and forth between a stoic numbness and a superficial hedonism.

It’s either:

Keep your head down and grind, build wealth for no real purpose at all, or at least a boring retirement nest egg.

Or... stop taking life so seriously, and just take what you can get from it, live a little, until you’re old and grey.

Slick big-shots who hook your attention with promises of rapid success… offering easy solutions that ultimately lead you astray from meaningful progress.

Many of them get rich only by selling you a program about how to get rich. They are playing the ultimate chicken or egg scenario. And they are selling their soul while fooling you.

2nd are the

Power Brokers

Elitist gate keepers who wield influence through middle-man positions of power that block you from rightful opportunity… such as certain corporate managers, industry insiders, and politicians who use their status to gain unearned power by suppressing innovation and freedom of choice.

Even if you can detect and outmanoeuvre the Shortcut Salesmen and the Power Brokers, you also face a less formidable but equally deadly part of The Enemy:

Productivity Pirates

Anyone who distracts you from focus, from daily discipline, whether through socializing, unnecessary administrative tasks such as government paperwork, or casual interruptions and media entertainment. They raid your focus and steal your productive time.

You know it’s true. I certainly know it’s true.

Then the 4th component of the enemy is:

The Status Quo

An invisible force that resists change and keeps us all stuck in outdated systems or mindsets.

Exerting coercive influence and pressure, pushing us to conform and discouraging our boldest innovations, self-expression or personal growth.

Then comes the 5th and final enemy of Supremacy.

Your lazy, self-indulgent, comfort-seeking alter ego.

Always urging you to procrastinate and avoid hard work in favor of meaningless indulgences and quickly forgotten instant gratifications.

As of 2024 urgency to defeat that 5 component enemy enters new heights.

Artificial Intelligence is set to disrupt everything — with the rapid rise of a new cognitive ecosystem.

Rapid Rise of a Cognitive Ecosystem

An economy built on 2 vectors:

1. accelerating speed of technology, and
2. augmentation of human capability

I currently work in the AI industry, with access to leading AI scientists, and the picture they paint for our very imminent future is scary as hell.

You will be given a choice in the not too distant future.

On the one hand, merge with machine to become a cyborg robot freed from the burden of human emotion — joining an artificial super intelligence — and no one knows where that will lead to.

Primary Research on People's Status Quo In the early 2000s I conducted various surveys across different groups of people. Here is one set of results revealing the broad variety of challenges people face on a day to day basis, categorized into the 3 realms of physical, mental, emotional plus a bonus category for spiritual / creative / contribution.

Bottom line...

You Tolerate Too Much Tolerance is a double edged sword. If we are tolerant of micro-aggressions they grow to ruin entire civilizations.

We tolerate a relative small number of bad actors (most politicians, many lawyers, many educators, various heads of industry, low-life banksters, and did I mention politicians?) who suppress and pillage the good natured naivety of the majority.

We need to shift collective ethics towards abandoning our naive tolerance of evil. A zero tolerance policy.

At the risk of boring the ethically minded readers, we can probably agree that people in society should behave ethically.

Differences of opinion about what is right and wrong lead us divided. People squabble over narrow issues like abortion rights, employment rights, and housing rights.

Regardless of politically sensitive issues we can and must agree on broader principles of ethics overall: theft, force and fraud.

And yet...

We tolerate...

You’ve heard the expression ‘taxation is theft’, but is it true?

• Consider the many layers of tax: Individual Income tax, Payroll tax, Capital gains tax.
• But wait, there’s more: Indirect tax — excise duty (on such things as alcohol, soda, and gasoline), insurance tax, and air passenger duty. Corporation tax (consumers end up paying it of course). Import taxes and hidden tariffs.
• And a few others thrown in for good measure: Sales tax, Gross receipts taxes (GRTs), Value-Added Tax (VAT). Very value added...
• Oh… and on things you own: Property tax, Estate and inheritance tax, Wealth tax (if you should be so lucky to survive and thrive amidst all of the other tax).
• And then there’s some incidentals you may have to pay depending on your country: Road tax, TV licence tax, health insurance (its a tax).

...And then there’s inflation... which happens largely because of central banks printing money and giving that money to Governments so politicians can spend on failing social welfare... or war.

Each dollar printed by central banks dilutes the value of YOUR dollars, hence acting as another form of... that's right... tax.

When you understand that tax extracts your hard-earned value it's easy to understand it as theft.

While most people would agree that using force against others against their will is wrong... many people continue to vote for politicians who create laws that force people to conform with rules against their will... ironic or sheer madness?

Initiating physical force (violence) is the most obvious example of wrongdoing.

Yet somehow we vote in elections that build majority might to enforce one groups policy’s and procedures against the will of other groups.

It boggles the mind to imagine all of the force that is sanctioned by political vote… including international war.

By what possible imagination does anyone truly believe that we should have the power to vote on political issues that restrict or even control other people’s lives?

But wait... there's more

Fraud means obtaining value such as power, labour or physical assets via deception.

How often do contractors, vendors or government agencies not fullfil on their promises?

Is it just incompetence or is it a pattern of deception?

In fact, fraud underpins the entire political paradigm that exists today. Fraud is rampant throughout society, and the modus operandi of governments, a lot of academia, most mainstream media, and even religions too.

At some point somewhere you can imagine a religious leader hoodwinking a gullible vulnerable follower into chronic guilt, excessive donations or sexual favours while maintaining an air of piety and reverence to a godly power. Sickening.

Some kind of Christian religious practice. The power of Christ speaking through a man's suit jacket. Hmm...

I suggest such acts of fraud are far more common than most folks would ever suspect or could even imagine.

The frauds are everywhere, all around us, all of the time, in every crevice of society, from the basic BS to the superficial sublime.

What in the world is that back drop about, really?

And academia has been caught in flagrante delicto (in the act) of fake data and cover ups in order to maintain the status quo.

Fraud curtails human progress through a veneer of false authority.

Stand guard at the door of your mind!

Callousness. Stepping on toes. One-upmanship.

All human vices enter the mixing pot of governance and society, decimating the potential for caring community.

We must re-learn what it means to communicate with empathy and respect within all types of collaborative situation.

To the extent we endure violent communication, egoic one-upmanship, and coercive authority within our governance systems, we will not tap the full potential of human collaboration..

Some people are so hopeless trapped by confusions of human value that they seek for everyone to perish in a global suicide event.

Some people's brain works better than others, that's for sure.

Regardless of your ‘IQ’, you have probably noticed times that your brain works better than others.

Be it from tiredness, stress, laziness, saturation, or the despondent apathy of a mild depression… sometimes our brain just doesn’t function so well.

You will also know how enjoyably clear your mind can be at certain times of life. When you’re ‘on form’, top of your game, blissfully productive with a sharp mind and energetic focus.

Most noticeable when we fall in love, or land a new dream job, or achieve a significant personal milestone.

THAT is how we should operate ALL of the time — but instead, through gradual diminishments of disappointment and toleration for the intolerable human condition of force and fraud, we develop cognitive habits of learned helplessness, boredom and irrationality.

• Learned Helplessness — losing faith in our potential.
• Boredom — distracted by dopamine infused indifference.
• Irrationality — accepting lunacy as if real.

In the face of survival pressures, a collapse in social norms, and the onset of accelerating change, new forms of cognition will emerge. Call it Singularity Consciousness.

How will we manage our conscious experience in an age of super rapidly advancing new technology and radical life extension?

What can we bring back from that future perspective to make ourselves and our lives better today?

Let's explore in Section 2.

Supremacy means being the authority of your own life, holding dominion over all that is rightfully yours.

But everyone fails. Big time.

Even when people enjoy personal success, everyone struggles to endure various bizarre hardships... and everyone declines with age until they no longer enjoy the rich fullness of their former vitality.

We might call it 'aging gracefully' but in all honesty it is not graceful. It is debilitating.

And regardless of that longer term decline, we have plenty to conquer in the short-term, don't we?

Financial pressures.

Relationship conflicts.

Healthy habits.

The list is long.

The Status Quo — The force that resists change and keeps you stuck.

The Inner Slacker — Your lazy side that craves comfort over effort.

Civilized Society Sound Money | Law & Order | Civil Coordination

Financial Currency = Creative Energy

Sound Money means money that is not created out of thin air by banksters or politicians to fund their wasteful budget programs.

Precious metals and cryptocurrency’s with legitimate use cases can serve as sound money.

Anything that serves as a basis for freely and fairly measuring and exchanging value.

Stop central banks from 'printing' money by replacing fiat currency with sound money.

An idea whose time has come.

Consent-Based Rules

Imagine a social culture that upholds a divine sense of balance within the diversity of experiences with freedom to choose who and what we associate with no matter where we live.

It is only because of our collective failure to remove the coercive threats of force and fraud that our political systems result in tyrannical suppression of minorities.

The closer that governance systems become to eliminating the impurities of force and fraud, the faster and easier we will see distributed governance flourish and replace the decaying rot of centralized authoritarianism worldwide.

Only a consent-based governance system gives each person the freedom to do their thing while preserving that same freedom for others. Only consent creates equality of justice.

Epicurus nailed the route to authentic sustainable happiness 3,000 years ago.

His formula was: Freedom. Friends. Reflection.

That is: When you 'work' enough to live relatively free from negative stress...

...enjoy time with close friends...

...and reflect on the rights and wrongs of life...

...you gain more benefits out of life, more profit — far beyond mere material wealth than you could ever hope for.

Let's call it Productive Bliss.

That is, being captivated by meaningful vocation that brings you boundless joy.

Epicurus identified the root of happiness as 'tranquility', not exuberance or hedonism.

An experience of having nothing more to strive for or attain beyond the satisfaction of the moment.

Productive Bliss comes from your individual sense of purpose and a profound commitment to recognize truth at the deepest level.

Not truth in the sense of manipulative rationalization or bias justifications for deficiencies and wishful thinking, but truth in the sense of integrity and wholeness which emerges out of raw honesty.

A profound degree of honesty, from an indestructible love for ones experience, a disciplined capacity for self-control, and an insatiable curiosity to question everything without bias.

Intellectual honesty breeds clarify, mindfulness and willingness.

That power eventually moves you towards Supremacy.

Your reward is a two-sided experience of progress and satisfaction.

Side 1: Productive (worthy advancement and contribution)

Side 2: Bliss (satisfying tranquility)

The Perpetual Satisfaction of Productive Bliss That state of perpetual satisfaction via productibe bliss has 2 primary experiences:

(1) a sense of vitality (energy, enthusiasm, empowerment, vigor) and

(2) a sense of order (rightness, availability, preparation, completion).

You may recall times in your life when you felt that you had vitality and your life was in order.

Nothing beats that feeling of levity that results. A lightness of being, like falling in love, and being in love, with all of life.

We can have those feelings continuously and forever by causing the change we need this decade.

When we achieve civilized society, caring community and cosmic integrity we tap into a never ending source of productive bliss.

What brings us the most amount of pleasurable life experience?

Is it drugs?

No.

Party?

Nope.

Travel?

Meh.

Money?

Definitely not — just take a closer look at materially wealthy successful people and you'll find countless stories of depression, stagnation, and isolation.

Epicurus (300 years BC) in ancient Greece identified that friendship is a full 33% of what brings us the most pleasure in life.

The Art of Community

In ‘The Art of Community’ Chris Vogl defines a community as a group of people who care about each other.

It’s not a social media discussion group with a common theme.

It’s not a company where the boss says ‘we are family’ and then lays off hordes of employees when profit margins drop during an economic downturn.

Community is about care.

Community is about collaborating with people to achieve something of mutual interest with the caveat that you know each other well enough, and actively go out of your way to support each other, based on an empathic sense of togetherness.

Consider this quintet of values for a caring community:

• Individual Sovereignty — Respectfully, what’s yours is yours and what’s mine is mine. Together we decide how much we share.
• Productive Bliss — The best feeling is when we enjoy our work together because the work is right and good.
• Human Vitality — Life feels better when we’re healthy together.
• Intellectual Honesty — Keeping thoughts pure and clear gives us the best way to communicate, relate and collaborate.
• Universal Justice — Small injustices lead to big injustices. Exposing corruption and blocking coercion must be done at every opportunity to maintain integrity for everyone.

This level of caring community arrives when each person is an autonomous sovereign, which creates two fundamental experiences:

First… Sovereign Communication

A new mindset beyond 'tolerance' where the quirky individuality of each person is celebrated without any sense of judgement whatsoever.

Individual perspectives become cherished as a form of artful self-expression without the need to 'correct' the other person.

A 'live and let live' mentality far beyond simple 'tolerance'.

Recognizing that each person approaches life, belief and habits entirely out of their own stage of unique background experiences and psychological/emotional integrations.

A lot of ‘disagreement’ and 'conflict' comes from valid differences of experience, personal needs, and information.

The use of 'clear language' and 'non violent communication' solves for those differences.

Second… Autonomous Collaboration

Each person rightfully does whatever they wish to do, so long as it does'n't harm another, or risk harm to a mutually agreed shared system, community or organization.

Free from 'bosses', collaboration then becomes entirely autonomous. Each person their own self-leader in purusing their bliss and sharing overlap through mutual synergy.

This eliminates egoic conflicts of one-upmanship that tends to result from agenda-driven influence and immature ‘leadership’.

To the extent that the loudest, most expressive, most dominant personality in the room gains the authoritative power of delegation, whether indirectly or explicitly, is a failure of governance.

Overbearingness should never be a determinant of governance.

In this section 'what to change' we considered some lofty ideals about how society will function in a free and fair future.

We don't have to wait. And in fact, we need to earn that future by influencing change today.

In Section 3 we explore exactly that.

Achieving supremacy includes (a) protection, (b) profit and (c) pleasure of becoming an autonomous sovereign, with full authority over your own life, holding dominion over all that is rightfully yours.

Supremacy comes from a quartet of:

VITALITY — energized daily passion and zest for life

COMMUNITY — friendly caring collaborators

BUSINESS — earning the lifestyle you want by creating and exchanging experiences in the emerging Cognitive Economy.

And a risk-free one-way ticket into the imminent FUTURE of a technological singularity.

That future may look something like this:

The roadmap into the Singularity aligns with the 4 phases in what's known as the '4th Turning' (a 20 year period at the end of an 80 year cycle) as follows:

• 2008-2024 Catalyst: Starting with the Stock Market Crash, leading to an overreach of governments, massive money printing leading to currency debasement and inflation, plus the fallout of death and disease of the Covid era.
• 2025-2027 Regeneracy: Distrust reaches a chronic low point, people begin to coalesce around trustful new points of view, despite tightening of global tyranny and expansion of war.
• 2028 Crisis: things get worse (poverty) and worse (tyranny), but civic life gets more determined and civil discourse flourishes
• 2030-2032 Resolution into a new civic paradigm.

Entering that future of flourishing is not individually guaranteed. Each of us need to work at it.

Supremacy is achieved via the 9 components presented in this section: Influence, Faith, Synergy, Justice, Commerce, Lifespan, Productivity, and Togetherness.

There is a LOT of information here, so dig deep, and in time by applying the matrix of ideas and techniques, you will achieve supremacy as an autonomous sovereign with total authority and dominion over all that is rightfully yours.

Stoicism Is For Beginners — Epicurus Prevails

Stoicism says “endure the struggle of life”.

Nietszche fell and died on that sword.

We will not.

Religions are comfortable with a stoic focus on negativity and self-sacrifice.

Epicurus new better.

Epicureanism brings life supremacy.

Rise from your knees.

“The highest good is pleasure” said Epicurus

For just as Dr Frank R Wallace wrote in Zonpower, Quantum Crossings:

“Here comes Prosperity, Excitement, Romance From Aeschylus, Sophocles, Epicurus”.

But doesn’t pleasure lack the cold rational logical virtues of Stoicism?

Isn’t the pursuit of pleasure superficial… even immoral?

Au contraire mon ami (on the contrary my friends).

Everything right and good comes from Epicurean pleasure.

Here, you’ll see.

Only decline and death comes from Stoic endurance.

And no one in their rightful mind wants that.

As Thomas Jefferson, (yes, author of the US Declaration of Independence) wrote:

“As you say of yourself, I too am an Epicurean. I consider the genuine (not the imputed) doctrines of Epicurus as containing everything rational in moral philosophy which Greece and Rome have left us.” – Thomas Jefferson, Letter to William Short, 1819

Not the pleasure of hedonist materialist sensuality, with its unnatural excesses that leave one dissatisfied with self-destructive addiction.

Rather, a pleasure that results from “freedom from pain in the body and from trouble in the mind” - Epicurus

Epicurus taught that pleasure (and Aristotelean ‘happiness’) manifests from a trifecta of:

1. Freedom from physical pain (aponia) and freedom from mental anguish (ataraxia).
2. Friends that share progress to celebrate the natural joys of life.
3. Reflection (an analyzed life) in the afterglow of activities that resolve constraints, conflicts or tensions.

A pleasure that culminates not in some jacked up meandering exhilaration, but a tranquility felt through the rightness of peace in the moment.

“The magnitude of pleasure reaches its limit in the removal of all pain.” - Epicurus

Nietsche sought but never grasped the difference of Stoicism and Epicureanism. Nor has lifestyle experimenter Tim Ferris (author of 4 Hour this and that).

Stoic Frailty

In opposition to Epicureanism, Stoicism places virtue above pleasure.

To Stoics, virtues are goods in themselves.

Specifically: Wisdom, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance.

They are their own rewards.

Cyborg-hopeful effective accelerationists (e/acc) would be quite content with that.

To Epicurus, a virtue is whatever helps you attain pleasure. Pleasure as the ultimate human experience.

Stoics, just as the misguidance of Buddhism, sought to endure a life of misery, suffering, pain. To transcend a world of pain through the virtue of acceptance and toleration.

To those silly stoics, pleasure is only preferred, but not the objective of a good life. Serenity as a fortunate afterthought, not a primary goal.

In their misguided folly, their version of a good life does not require either freedom from pain nor close connection with friends.

To endure the struggle becomes the Stoics chief aim and their most noble of characteristics, amidst a hopeless divine comedy.

This 2000 year old upside down world of decline and death is the result.

Time To Rewrite Our Future Past

It is time to write a new chapter of human experience.

To recognize a hard-impact truth that sustainable holistic pleasure is only achieved through the elimination of unnecessary pain.

And through modern tools, technologies and techniques, we can eliminate pain down towards zero as we cross into an accelerated future of innovation, abundance, and right mental attitude.

Stoic endurance becomes merely a stepping stone, an obstacle to be overcome and vanquished, towards the tranquil pleasures of freedom, friends and reflection.

Epicurean virtue is whatever brings us pleasure by satisfying 2 out of 3 types of desire.

The 3 Types of Epicurean Desire

1. Natural and Necessary
2. Natural and Unnecessary
3. Unnatural and Unnecessary

It is natural to seek healthy living, healthy food, shelter that provides protection from the elements and a peaceful 8 hours of rejuvenating sleep each night. Protection from harm and the companionship of likeminded friends.

It is unnatural to pursue desires of vanity: power over others, wealth beyond tranquility, fame beyond friendship.

The Risks of Unnatural Desire

Unnatural desire leads us to addictions and obsessions that separate us from tranquility.

There becomes no limit to irrationally hedonistic pursuits, and hence unsatisfying obsessions, which only leads to perpetual dissatisfaction, and hence continued mental anguish and disturbance.

Quite the opposite of Epicurean pleasure as found through the tranquility of removing unnatural and unnecessary desires, constraints and obstacles.

Epicurus was a hedonist, but a sensible one.

2 States of Epicurean Pleasure

At first, kinetic pleasure.

The pleasure of activity, of movement that advances us towards achievement, with progress made to resolve tensions, create values, remove obstacles, and eliminate disturbances.

A second pleasure then results. Epicurean ‘katastematic’ pleasure.

The proverbial cigarette after sex. But nothing toxically harmful.

After an activity is complete, it follows a state of contentment and satisfaction.

A static tranquil satiated pleasure with absence of pain, lust, hunger, drive, or disturbance, providing a gateway into deeper tranquil happiness.

Friends… and Foes

The worst of people are those who seek unnecessary and unnatural pleasures at ever more extreme levels.

This includes fame for self glorification, financial fortune beyond utility, and power over men.

Epicurus was the original Ayn Rand in identifying the second-hander who lives through the opinion of other people:

Epicurus says "If you live according to nature, you will never be poor; if you live according to opinion, you will never be rich."

Heretical?

Yes!

Epicurus stance is fundamentally individualistic.

Attacked by Church and Synagogue, the word Epikoros became the term used for ‘heretic’ in the Jewish Mishnah (written in the first few centuries CE).

The Roman poet Lucretius proudly referred to Epicurus as the "destroyer of religion".

2000 years after Epicurus, Nietzsche lamented that ‘god is dead’. Just as Epicureanism was making a revival in the Age of Enlightenment, leading Jefferson to observe it was “everything rational in moral philosophy”.

Being Epicurus

Work only for the purpose of collaboration with friends or towards meaningful purpose, never for fame or financial fortune.

Reflect on past, present and future pleasures.

Do not live only in the moment, for we are temporal beings, able to access and draw in the future, while reveling and benefiting from the past.

Those rational and emotional perspectives and foundations provide us with new fuel to embody freedom from all addicting negatives in today’s degraded culture.

Remember:

Self-discipline. Strong friendships. Simple living.

Embody Epicurus

Epicurus was a person, hence the word Epicurus is rightly a proper noun.

But re-purposing his name as an eponym or epithet, to be epicurus is any person today wielding the tools of Epicureanism.

You are epicurus when you embody the traits of Epicureanism.

We are Epicurus reincarnate when we pursue and achieve the pleasure of tranquility.

Own it.

We are not merely Epicurean.

We are epicurus with conviction and in totality.

I am Epicurus.

You are Epicurus.

On March 17, 2017 I published How To Diversify Into Cryptocurrencies To Protect And Grow Your Savings.

In late 2018 I published a “Beginners Guide to Cryptocurrency 2019”.

Then May 2019 I published “7 Principles for Trading Cryptocurrencies”.

In this new series starting December 2023, we will expand on those principles updated for 2024.

But more than just ‘principles’ we will laser-focus on the mental disciplines that underpin them.

Trading Psychology is taught in professional financial trading… while most retail investors lose their edge… as they lose the balance of their trading account.

I made that mistake. Even after writing those 7 Principles. Even after continuing to learn way beyond what I published then in 2019.

The 2020 bull run was glorious. I accumulated coins that performed beautifully. My portfolio bulged. My greed glands sung. I imagined a future of financial independence, even wealth.

But alas, that comfort and a HODL mentality blindsided me from the market crash which began early 2021.

And so I rode the market all the way down, 90% down, back down to earth. No moon in sight. No lambo. No FYM.

I won’t make that same mistake a 3rd time.

Yes, a 3rd, because I did the same thing back in the 2017 bull run too.

2017/18, up and down without cashing out.

2020/21, up and down without cashing out.

I could make excuses, but excusitis is an unacceptable dis-ease of the mind. One to learn from, yes. But not to cling to for comfort.

Now at the start of an expected super cycle from now through to late 2025, with institutional money flooding into a maturing crypto economy, my one crypto goal is to prepare my trading psychology to push the SELL button at the right time.

That is the Crypto Conundrum.

Preparing yourself to SELL at exactly the right time. Because buying is the easy part.

2017 I made and lost a mint.

2021… same story.

2024/25 will be ‘3rd time lucky’…

Or more like dogged discipline and scrutiny to adapt to market conditions, and be supremely ready to push that big red SELL button at the right time…

This strategy will receive more detail as I continue to refine and describe how I approach the 3rd crypto bull cycle I’ve witnessed.

…before the institutional investors dump on the final wave of unsuspecting retail investors. Sorry not sorry.

So here’s the gist of my strategy to date:

• A mixed bag of tokens, anything that looks about ready to pop
• Technical Analysis for entry and exit points — focused on Wyckoff accumulation and mark-up patterns
• Watch for narrative popularity on Crypto Twitter (AI, Games, RWA, DeFi)
• Rotate out of coins that reach swing peaks, fall below Wyckoff re-accumulation ranges), or hit significant Take Profit resistance levels (horizonal trend lines are super powerful trading instruments)
• Weed out positions in coins that have high market caps as presumably they will move slower than low market cap coins
• Accumulate in 3 tranches, small initial entry, next tranche once the first is in profit or has dropped to a good support level ready for a rebound. And then a 3rd if the coin is smoking. This really helps manage risk.
• Don’t get married to any coins. A big mistake I made in the past with several coins that had hype narratives but no mustard. Now, I am a total floozy ready to switch to any coin that is hotter in the moment. However, I’m basing that mostly on Technical Analysis, not marketing hype.
• I will also begin including marketing analysis into my coin reviews (it’s a big part of my professional background so I can take advantage of it from a crypto analysis point of view) and will share those notes as I produce them.

One final though on strat: I’m also interested to explore AirDrops (because it will help keep me educated, and possibly gain some small token bags that pay an hourly wage thus helping justify short-term focus on crypto with a 2-year take profit time horizon).

By the time you read the Crypto Conundrum Letter (next page) you might already be confused, even downright frightened, of trying to trade crypto.

And I don’t blame you.

10% gains vs 10% losses can sometimes be the difference between checking the charts and placing a portfolio adjustment just an hour later.

But when you know the principles of success (many of which comes from the traditional financial markets) you can very quickly stack the odds in your favour.

And that’s what we’re going to explore in this newsletter over 2024 leading into the super cycle market top in 2025.

Millionaire status is possible for the diligent few.

Mediocrity will be the result for the mass majority.

And you'll have your self a nice portfolio.

But that won't make you rich.

Because most people do not sell when they should.

Most people (like I did, twice)... HODL for dear life... and watch their portfolio crater to dust as the bull run reaches its peak with full tilt euphoria... only to leave the vast majority holding the bags.

TWICE.

That's right. I had Fuck You money in my crypto portfolio twice.

And I only fucked myself.

I've learned from it. I've educated myself. And I'm training my brain with the right psychology. The right mental models. The right exit strategies. The right technical signals. The right market cycle perspective...

So that in the 2024/25 bull run. I will be the one laughing this time around.

And I learned a LOT about the FOMO (fear of missing out) and FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt) that the crypto market is built on.

The smell of fear and greed clouding the judgement of hundreds of thousands of people at different levels of trading experience... all represented as data in spreadsheets. It was anonymous by the time I analyzed it. But the overall patterns were clear.

That's how I really came to understand the frantic speed of a market top, where aunts, uncles and even grandmas are buying bitcoin and talking about it at the dinner table.

And then once the whales pull the plug, and the retail investors run out of spare cash... there comes a moment like an eye in a tornado... when the market is suddenly still. Bulls become exhausted. Bears become exhausted. Hesitancy fills the air. Euphoria turns to panic as no one is left to buy and prices begin to tumble back down to Earth.

Selling at that point is already too late. 20%, 40% even 60% drops from a market top can happen in a matter of hours.

And that's when complacency sets in like in the WSCS. Hopium lets people believe the market will recover.

But it doesn't. The SELL window was lost. Half the gains you could have cashed in are gone. Now the question is whether you have the fortitude to sell and keep the 50% that's left... or watch it disintegrate into another crypto winter.

If you've been there before, you know how it all feels.

Let's do something different this time around.

DCA (Dollar Cost Average) among 10 or 20 coins of your choice.

Rebalance the portfolio every once in a while if you want. Statistically, it's the surest way to make gains.

Don't worry so much about what the YouTube crypto vloggers say day to day. They are attention seekers, or they want YouTube ad revenue.

Just use Coin Market Cap to see what's trending in the market. Educate yourself about projects by reading their websites, checking their social channels and communities, look up their LinkedIn accounts and spy on their staff a little bit to see if the're legit professionals. Read crypto news sites too.

And then select your favorite collection of coins to accumulate all the way into the bull run.<br>

When to SELL — the difficult part...

What I'm going to share is my own exit strategy and the principles I have learned that you will be able to adapt for your self.

Imagine a physical/virtual venue, with some attendees physically present on the property with others beaming in via the Digital Twin metaverse using a VR headset.

• The physical land will be maintained as a nature reserve, with augmented reality experiences including education on sustainability, syntropic agroforestry, biomimicry, soil health, the bio-energetics of living close to nature, and more.
• The digital twin virtual space will be home to training, education and networking events.

Altogether a new melting pot of future-focused ideas and ideals.

Landscaping, architecture, construction methods, community spaces, and facilities will be co-designed and even co-owned by a new community, based on a legal cooperative model. There is a lot of opportunity available for contributors and partners.

What should we limit ourselves to?

The focus is not on games for entertainment within our metaverse concept, but certainly gamification and entertainment are natural parts of a good life.

We also don’t want to replace the human experience or our biological authenticity, but we also want to include technology to enhance the human condition as much as maintains the integrity of humanity.

No public community development as yet.

Research on the digital twin infrastructure, utility tokenomics, singularity advocates.

This is a highly-opinionated description of exactly how consortiums can form to achieve high performance output, aligned with the values of distributed decision making and contributor empowerment through ownership and autonomy.

Relevant to web3, remote work, DAO’s, Sociocracy, inclusivity… and all that jazz.

First let's explore: What Needs To Change.

In the quest for ‘decentralization’ we abandon the moors of traditional best practice people management.

Alas! We have thrown the baby out with the bath water!

Our focus on inclusivity, diversity, and decentralization has left us floundering for sustainable success.

Relationship management has displaced performance management.

Tokens have replaced sense.

Individual role possessiveness has collapsed the synergy of shared Key Performance Indicators.

Junior staff with naive passion become arrogant influencers… while experienced talent shy away from time-consuming, energy-draining, debate.

None of it works.

So dogmatic leaders and founders direct as ‘benevolent dictators’ by breaking all of their own rules, compounding the consequences of piss poor governance, half-baked policy, and surface level adherence to decentralization.

Passion is not enough. As famous personal development coach Tony Robbins once rather dryly put it: “You can motivate a room full of idiots… but then you just end up with motivated idiots”.

The inmates are running the asylum.

Lets not blame ourselves too much… because we’re all trying the very best we are currently capable of… and this web3 thing is so darn new.

But lets expand our capability by taking responsibility here and now to resolve the most important mission for humanity today: Quality collaboration through better team management. The worlds needs this now more than ever.

Post-mortem survey’s of startup founders list ‘team related issues’ in the top 3 reasons for failure — and yet collectively we mentally evade the responsibility of risk management within our teams and organizations by turning a blind eye to conflicts and constraints — wanting to control our territory, not step on toes, not have our toes be stepped on, and so it goes.

We need radical innovation to solve all constraints to human coordination with a new form of organizational development that solves for all areas of human wellbeing.

Purpose — All The Way Down

Before web3, before digital automation, before tokenization — even before personal computers — cutting edge management practice began to emerge in the 1970s.

Bill Oncken nailed the essence of effective and efficient people management thus:

“All projects and tasks shall be owned and handled at the lowest organization level consistent with their welfare.”

Yes! That directly speaks to our web3 value of autonomy and ownership of roles.

And the in-built caveat is project welfare. That is, quality of results. That is, performance, effectiveness, success criteria.

Oncken further identified that management should be “hands-off as much as possible and hands-on as much as necessary”.

...As necessary to ensure the desired outcome.

And while it is necessary to define overall organizational purpose. It is NOT sufficient to stop there.

Purpose must exist explicitly with painstaking comprehensive clarity and transparency at EVERY ‘level’ of an organization.

Because a hierarchy of requirements is inherent in achieving a purpose, replace soul-based hierarchies (people) with role-based hierarchies (functions).

Only when deliverables and subsequent dependencies are made clear can teams be most effective. This should be obvious, and yet we flounder in a haze of loosey-goosey free-reigning individual autonomy, having not mastered the distinction of ‘role’ vs ‘soul’.

Roles Before Souls

Also in the 1970’s, from a very different angle of maximizing inclusivity and respectful autonomy without hierarchical dictatorship, Sociocracy evolved the notions of consent-based collaboration.

It popularized the idea that “the role is not the soul” which is superficially interpreted as 'duties of a role should not be pinned to the value of the person who contributes to the role'.

This becomes an insidious get out clause, where best efforts are applauded regardless of performance.

Oh contraire, we need to turn this entirely on its head!

The role should not be tied to an individual at the point of defining the role.

Roles are requirements for innovation and operation.

Roles MUST be achieved one way or another, by one or more people, whoever or however proves capable.

Define roles independent of people who contribute to fulfilling them. The role is not the soul.

Roles are inherent to the purpose of the organization, at all levels of welfare.

Make role descriptions granular with clear specificity. Use SOP's (standard operating procedures) or process check-lists.

Each role includes it’s function (why it exists, what it exists to provide or achieve) and its SOP.

Where those SOP’s are ill-defined, they will become better defined through a cycle of experimentation, learning and innovation.

Only once alignment exists within the group on roles should assignments be considered.

Note: Without clearly defining roles BEFORE assigning roles to souls, roles are greatly influenced by the souls who inhabit them.

Souls then identify as ‘owners’ of roles, leading teams towards the conflicts of borders and boundaries rather than collaborative participation.

Said another way: Roles are not to be shaped subjectively on the basis of available contributors, but rather on the objective basis of fulfilling organizational purpose.

Piecemeal Decision-Making

Bill Oncken also identified a management technique to maximise available quality of performance, described as an insurance policy with 2 options:

"Recommend, and then act. If there is a high risk then the team member should be told to recommend, then get approval (or ‘consent’) from the manager (or ‘circle’) and then act."

"Act, and then advise. If there is little risk, then the team member can act and then advise the manager (or circle) of the results. As team members get more proficient in their tasks this will happen more, but the responsibility has to be delegated (or consented) from the manager (or circle) to ensure safety."

How pithy. How fitting for balancing the risk of enabling distributed decision making through contributor autonomy, while also ensuring alignment and maximum quality assurance among the wider group.

Get together with willing participants, and without assigning accountabilities, work to identify a logical array of requirements, milestones and critical success factors (CSFs) that can move the needle towards organizational purpose.

There are just 2 fundamental principles to grasp for cyclic synergistics:

• Phased Prioritization
• Transparent Deliberation

Phased Prioritization

Instead of assigning or proposing a project in entirety, all projects for decentralized decision making move through two distinct phases: OC and AC.

OC: Opportunity Consent

Begin by gaining consent on a gap, challenge, or problem. This can be done on calls or in chat or in documents.

• Clearly state the opportunity.
• Detail how it relates to purpose.
• Validate the opportunity with evidence.
• Assess the impact of inaction vs resolution.
• Gain consent.

AC: Approach Consent

Once consent is gained on the opportunity to be addressed, contributors can collate possible approaches to address the opportunity and then arrive at a starting point.

• Present options.
• Justify preferences.
• Seek input.
• Gain consent.
• Here's a template. Copy the file and build better together.

Transparent Deliberation

To deliberate means to conduct intentional and diligent consideration. Distributed decision making requires diligence. Embrace it.

Input should be welcome by anyone at any time. Documents should be commentable. The collective spirit is to pursue better ways of doing things, based on experience, talent, research and experimentation.

Use shared drives and documentation. Decentralized decision-making can not happen when work-in-progress is kept on private drives. On the whole, all project work should be accessible to anyone trusted by the team.

How To Consent

Sociocracy does a good job of describing the difference between consensus and consent.

“Consensus means a decision is made when everyone agrees. Consent means a decision is made when no one objects.” — SociocracyForAll.org

Consent is given on the basis of harm. If Billy wants to do something, and Jennifer has no justified cause for concern for any risk of harm, then Billy is free to take action.

How is consent obtained? By asking for objections. Ask collaborators to specify any risks they see in the proposal. Simple.

If objections exist, agree on what would need to be addressed in order to resolve the specified risk. Rinse and repeat until consent is reached on whether the proposal is worth pursuing according to its proposed positive impact vs any identified risks of harm.

Objections must be addressed explicitly within transparent documentation. Sometimes, achieving consent takes a tremendous amount of time and energy. So be it.

Clarifications

Controlled Autonomy

Communicate to consent on needs (dependencies and challenges to address) and resource allocations. Do not communicate to dictate solutions or tasks.

Note for Product Managers & Developers: This is somewhat akin to Agile best practice where product owners advise on problems to solve, for which developers choose their own solutions.

Appointments of Power

Distribution of decision making authority is not a right, it is a policy decision by those who control the resources and therefore ultimately decide on organizational strategy. Don’t like them? Leave them!

The degree of conflict in a team suggests the degree of willingness in the team to give up control, push personal agendas, or failure to seek authentic consent.

Meritocratic Innovation

The inherent argument for decentralizing organizations is that better quality decisions can be made within an organization at the point those decisions need to be actioned. This also encourages greater contributor engagement with a more fulfilling sense of empowerment.

Those most interested and capable of contribution will naturally emerge through the process of Phased Prioritization and Transparent Deliberation outlined above. This is the great experiment of modern organizational design as society heads towards a more civilized (respectful and harmonious) way of being.

Team Shapes

There are various models for how to group people for work. From autonomous Agile teams, to distinct circles, pods or guilds.

Spotify invented a creative model for matrix management which itself failed to implement and moved away from, although it lends itself well to the idea of criss-crossing accountabilities that we can glean from.

Here's just one example article among many that help describe the Spotify Model.

In the Phased Prioritization model described above, team shapes are a secondary consideration. Start by defining work from AC to OC, and only then will it become practical and effective to begin shaping relevant teams.

Synergy Via Zero Organizations & Temporary Autonomous Consortiums (TAC's) In decades past, careers were for life.

Today we might transition across career types multiple times.

In the future we may participate in many dozens... if not hundreds... of economic situations via smart-contracts that pay us for our contributions.

Similar to freelance designers, writers, or developers who work independently and have dozens of clients over time. They are not considered as employees or staff in the traditional sense. They may be consultants, advisors, or providers. Often referred to as contractors.

Similarly, a Zero Organization exists only in the temporary nature of its associations between 'contractors' facilitated by smart-contracts, forged by meaningful relationships.

Each of us gaining capacity to discover, align, and participate in countless explorations or outcomes based on our values, interests, skills, and experiences.

Zero Organizations are temporary consortiums between autonomous individuals.

Temporary Autonomous Consortiums (TAC's) exist only as long as the system requires and participants agree to mutual benefit.

4 Elements Of TACtful Collaboration

1. Prioritize Opportunities — Identify and align on what is important to stakeholders. This may start at the level of vision and values, and move towards milestones, gaps and challenges. It may include projects, strategic initiatives, gap analysis, contributor roles, policy requirements, and so on.
2. Assign Accountabilities — Appoint accountability to contributors based on some measure of merit (ability, interest, reputation, responsibility, consensus vote, etc).
3. Coordinate Contribution — Assigned agents are incentivized and supported as required to achieve their accountabilities.
4. Reward Result — Based on the agreement set for success, results are measured and incentives are rewarded to contributors.

Easier said than done but through web3 dynamics we are learning fast.

6 Principles For Incentivized Benevolence 1. Empower decisions driven by experience, propensity, knowledge or skill: Meritocracy.

2. Support transparency and record keeping so that contributors can raise their profile as they increase their capacity for effective contribution: Reputation.
3. Enable and encourage collaborative open dialog to efficiently arrive at decisions through authenticity and integrity: Candor.
4. Compare options to make informed choices at every possible level of governance: Juxtaposition.
5. Encourage transparency to collect a wide variety of inputs from diverse sources: Inclusivity.
6. Remove bad actors so they gain no entry into our new world of abundance until they make reparations: Ostracism.

Introducing The Zero Organization

A Future Of Temporary Autonomous Consortiums

The Zero Organization has no boundaries in the traditional sense of company, corporate, or institutional structures.

These archaic edifices attempt to bound collaboration within legal frameworks, hierarchal management structures, with a redundant way of tracing value flows.

As data becomes ever-more present and utilized in decentralized protocols, each of us gain capacity to discover, align, and participate in countless explorations or outcomes based on our values, interests, skills, and experiences.

With decision making power and ownership of resource allocations, they include other individuals to participate in specific project areas to collaborate on mutual value creation. Associations last as long as the system and participants agree a mutual benefit.

Hence...

Temporary Autonomous Consortiums, or TACs.

This model extends today's concept of a DAO; a Decentralized Autonomous Organization. A phrase that emerged around 2013 following Dan Larimer's suggestion of a DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Company).

The collaborative zero-hierarchy management structures of DAO's is still in its nascent stage of development, with various progress throughout the web3 sector.

Perhaps we will naturally see the borders and boundaries between one organization and another begin to fade, as work becomes entirely organized around the flexibility of individual autonomous contributors, rather than through the rigidity of pre-DAO centralized corporate structures.

This largely depends on futuristic data management that will allow greater filtering and matching between projects and passionate/capable parties, and the measurability of value flows, right down to the individual.

• On the individual level, see today's cutting-edge personal knowledge management tools such as Heptabase to glimpse the future of sophisticated individual-centric workflow autonomy.
• On the group level, there are many experiments towards distributed collaborative synergy, perhaps towards this concept of The Zero Organization via Temporary Autonomous Consortiums.

What Religion Will Dominate The Singularity?

Hark back to ancient times

Panentheism is described as man’s oldest religion. A reverence for the divinity in all things.

Imagine a social culture that upholds a divine sense of balance within the diversity of experiences and freedom to choose where our energies go.

In nature, panarchy is the natural mixed equilibrium reached within an ecosystem, such as a forest with various forms of flora (plants) and fauna (animals).

This probably points to the root of the word paganism, btw.

In civil governance, or ‘politics’, Panarchy advocates our right to choose the social rules we live by. That we are not beholden to men but free to follow the calling of our individual spirit, providing we recognize that same right for others, of course.

Doesn’t that already sound more spiritual than we see of today’s religions?

Project into future times

Imagine the world post Singularity. Technology rapidly provides for all of our physical needs. We are freed from the constraints of today’s economics. Politics is all but reduced to a function of protecting individuals from the risk of force or fraud. Society is wholly benevolent.

…Now, reflect on the nature of human to human relationships. Bask in the goodwill of a society freed from the constraints of barbaric political machinations as exist today...

What religious view would people hold?

How would they relate on a daily basis to their religious sentiments?

Can you see how each of us would feel the blissful imminence and reverence of abundance that surrounds us and pervades every interaction, even every artefact.

Consider how Cathedrals were architected to capture a majestic reverence for a vengeful god in the sky. Priests, chastizing the congregation of sinners seated in pews, pointing downwards to the depths of an imaginary hell with fire and brimstone.

Instead, divinity within the Singularity is a directly felt constant experience of daily life. The rightness of life. The goodness of being. The responsibility of caring for self, each other, and surroundings. The perpetual opportunity for productive bliss to both enjoy and create new experience.

The New World Religion In A Nutshell

Once we enter the Singularity, God is no longer interpreted with anthropomorphic characteristics. That is, we no longer think of as ‘god’ in the sense of an individual separate conscious being with requirements and punishments and vengeful emotions.

The god-concept becomes fully absorbed into our reverence for the benevolent manifestation of existence. The rightness of life becomes our rapture. We directly experience ourselves and everyone and all things around us as part and parcel of divinity.

Embedded meme’s that either unfurl immediately, creating a contained contextual perspective, or laying dormant until triggered by future experiences.

The goal is for these bullets to accrue without being dismissed outright through cognitive dissonance or knee-jerk reactions by the target so that each atomic digital bullet become lodged for future activation.

When enough bullets accrue and then connect, integrations mount and cognitive disonance is overpowered. New vistas of integrated awareness and radical honesty shine forth.

Bullet-Charting becomes a game of DICE in which we are the casino. They roll out their Dishonesty, Ignorance, Cowardliness, and Envy. We jiujitsu it into inescapable moments of profound honesty.

And then we hit them with selective Bullets or Societal Processing Templates in a way that we work out provides maximum leverage to expose their loaded DICE.

How to Formulate Digital Bullets

6 Steps of Bullet Charting

1. Identify Target
2. Determine the Context
3. Look for ‘slant'
4. Choose whether to Destruct, Deconstruct, or Transcend, or a combination
5. Create Vivid Juxtaposition
6. Fire!

1. IDENTIFY TARGET

Get them in your sites. This happens in day-to-day activities. Any conversation that you are part of or over hear presents potential targets.

You will of course be selective. Become mindful of what your purpose would be in the given circumstance.

Consider consequences: Are their long-term relations involved, or is the situation a one off where more aggressive stances can be taken for maximum effect in this one ‘shot'?

2. DETERMINE THE CONTEXT

Understand their position, their frame of reference, their psychological investments, motivations, understandings, premises, goals, etc.

To help determine context ask what is the essence? What details are assumed?

You will start to appreciate the process of integration from which their context is made up from their current model of reality.

Two perspectives must be held in mind. The Superciv integrated perspective (good/benefit/value), and the anticiv perspective (bad/dis-value).

This will help you find the ‘slant' (step 3).

3. LOOK FOR ‘SLANT'

Argument involves (a) essence and (b) details.

The essence should be evident from the context you have chosen within the situation.

Now consider specific details of the situation to look for the slant; the angle that you could fire a digital bullet from. Specific ideas pertinent to the current situation.

4. CHOOSE WHETHER TO DESTRUCT, DECONSTRUCT, OR TRANSCEND

Destruct — obliterate the idea.

5. CREATE VIVID JUXTAPOSITION

The first four steps could take just a moment to go through. This step 5 may take longer.

It happens that attempting to think of a crafty juxtaposition takes longer than the window of opportunity to formulate and fire a digital bullet.

Where Digital Bullets Originate — The Source of All Cosmic Integrity

In the next 4 short paragraphs I summarise 20 years of my personal journey, revealing how I came across digital bullets.

In 1995, on my fifteenth birthday, I announced to my father that I would no longer be pursuing Judaism. I'm sure it was quite a blow but he took it like a champ. A deeply respectful and loving father in his own way. We drifted apart over the years.

In 1996, almost a year after asserting my inviolable free thinking and individualism, I fortuitously discovered a thick book called Cosmic Power Now. To this day, that book has no equal in matching my sense and view of life. It was as if the author, Dr Frank R Wallace, had purified the expression of my heart and captured it in print. It was obvious. It was clean. It was valuable.

In 1998 that same author began to published weird and wonderful new ideas that form the basis of Digital Bullets. His new ideas seemed confusing, unclear, impractical. But I sensed a wider understanding that perhaps someday I could grasp.

In 2020, as Corona pandemonia ripped through society, vivid examples of mass hysteria and life threatening irrationality finally gave me insight to better understand the simplicity, pure beauty, and profitable practicality of Frank R Wallace's futuristic writing.

The Neo-Tech Process for Riches & Romance

Tragically, most Neo-Tech readers failed to grasp it. In a sense, FRW didn't understand it either. How can that be? An author not understanding their own writing? Because Neo-Tech describes perspectives and emotional experiences that are beyond our current appreciation. And FRW said so of himself.

Our task and opportunity is to expand our understanding through multiple readings, and simple practical action steps.

FRW wrote in a way to avoid giving advice, giving instructions, or becoming anyones 'authority'. He wrote in such a way that only self-leaders through FIH, WSA, DTC (explained below) through our own volitional focus, can pry the practical advantages and steps out of the Digital Journey.

FRW had intended to produce an instruction manual of sorts, a 'poker-type manual' that would explain how anyone can construct Neo-Tech Bullets (which I call Digital Bullets), informational memes that help juxtapose fact from fiction in freeing human thought from 3000 years of camouflaged error.

As FRW was fatally hit by a car in 2006, the responsibility and opportunity to build those Neo-Tech Bullets rests on our shoulders. In the next section, I begin to dissect the Digital Journey, with the dual purpose of (a) better understanding what the heck it's on about myself, and (b) accelerating your grasp of his message, so that together we can cast Digital Bullets into every crevice of our own lives, communities, and global cultures, to fulfil the job of building a super society over the coming years.

If you've not yet read them, or Pax Neo-Tech, or Zonpower, then you'll certainly recognise the call to action presented here, but you'll need to read and re-read FRW's work to really 'get it'. • The difficult part is navigating the complexity of human thought that is so enamoured in old world experience that it feels almost impossible to unpack all the details, insights, realisations, facts to see the new world, stuck with old biases, agendas, traumas, grudges, prejudices, which make it near-impossible to change, adapt or grow.
• The spectrum of human thought is so vast and so complex, and so fixated on a consciousness of aging decline, that correcting those complexities is a fools errand.
• Frank R Wallace invited us to realize that fools-folly, and to conceive new paths that fade out and replace old perspectives while ramping up new emotional experiences that come from a future time and place. What is Cosmic Power?

The word cosmic means 'relating to the universe'. The perspective of Cosmic Power is that we have a greater long-term potential than what exists down here on planet Earth. A universal cosmic potential of far advanced technology, mentality, and culture.

Neo-Tech Physics

In his 1996 work called Neo-Tech Physics, PhD of inogranic chemistry Dr Frank R Wallace identifies:

Gravity Units are neither energy nor matter.[ 31 ]

But, in sort of a de Sitter sense, energy and matter meld into the symmetry of Gravity-Unit space or an existence field. From that fundamental symmetry or field of existence, all universes spring.

Indeed, Gravity Units are that which the latest string theories are groping toward. Gravity Units not only occupy all space among matter and energy particles, but comprise all such particles themselves including quarks and electrons, including gravitons and photons.

The most fundamental controller of existence is human consciousness, the force that controls symmetry and Gravity Units. From those dynamics, existence evolves. ...Consciousness is the ultimate logic, beauty, and symmetry of physics from which future, major theories and discoveries will be predicted and confirmed.

[ 31 ] Energy and mass in the strictest sense do not actually convert from one to the other as suggested by E=mc2 . They are really just two different modes of the most fundamental field -- the existence field consisting of quasi spacetime points and Gravity Units. From any Gravity Unit or quasi spacetime point can spring the mass and energy of an entire universe...an entire universe of quarks and electrons.

But, how do the quarks and electrons actually materialize? They materialize by breaking the symmetry of a Gravity Unit or spacetime point, which is pure symmetry at zero energy, zero mass, and zero gravity. That symmetry breaks into exactly equal but any amounts of positive and negative energy. The amount of energy depends on how the symmetry breaks. The positive energy consists of mass and energy fields comprising the dynamics of quark-and-electron motions. The negative energy consists of gravity comprising the dynamics of antimotions and slowing time. The total energy, mass, and gravity for any universe or its alternate mode of a Gravity Unit is zero, with all positive and negative energies exactly cancelling each other. Indeed, in the totality of any closed universe or Gravity Unit, the conservation laws of energy, angular momentum, and electrical charge disappear. They each cancel to zero. ...In a Gravity Unit, time stops and disappears into a spatial dimension or geometry.

What really are quarks and electrons? They are existence modes or geometries of quantized momentums that are relativistically compacted into mass particles surrounded by energy fields or wave functions.

Gravity Units and their existence field are controlled by conscious beings through unblocked, wide-scope, integrated thinking efforts. The fine-coarse graining of existence will reveal a quantized particle of conscious thought: the thinkon. As photons mediate force in the electromagnetic field, as W and Z particles mediate force in the weak nuclear field, as gluons mediate force in the strong nuclear field, and as gravitons mediate force in the gravitational field, thinkons mediate the force of consciousness in the existence field. All existence can be identified through various sum-over histories of thinkons. ... The mathematics of noneuclidean, multidimensional geometries may provide the field equations for the existence field and its thinkons.

Most academics and philosophers avoid definitions of consciousness.

I suspect the reason is that (a) they avoid contextual thinking and/or (b) they are hiding essential insight that would empower humanity.

Applying first principles thinking with etymology, the most useful description of consciousness derrives as follows:

Mid-14 Century 'cognizance' (conisance) "by which something or someone is known". From Anglo-French conysance "recognition", "knowledge of".

Then 1630s, "internal knowledge," from conscious + -ness. Meaning "state of being aware of what passes in one's own mind".

A question then is, well what possess 'mind'? Does a rock have a mind? Is it cognizant (does it recognize, have knowledge of something?)

Let's get contextual and move on: Yes, everything that is impacted by something else can be described as recognizing it (its borders, pressure, force, etc). and in that sense all things have a knowing.

Animals have a primitive or a narrow-focused mind-space for recognition and knowing. Dolphins have individual names for each other.

Humans have tapped into a bigger capacity of mind-space. Volitional consciousness is the ability to choose where to mentally focus. I-ness consciousness is the introspective sense of a self-identity as distinct from that of our surroundings.

A crucial question of advanced civilization is whether or not a consciousness is valued enough to expend the energy required to take a kind of imprint of that consciousness and teleport it for storage or re-animation into a body.

My bet is that yes, millenia more advanced conscious beings recognize the treasure of human consciousness and enable a push-pull transaction in the cosmic wide web to save that consciousness at its point of death within our current era pre-immortality.

In that way, heaven and immortality exist. But I wouldn't bank on that as our insurance policy for surviving the next few decades of pre-singularity pre-immortality services.
